Mr. Vijay Sirse is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of vTrium Energy Pte. Ltd., a Singapore incorporated company specialising in Energy Management, Electricity Retail (Discom), Distributed Solar Power Generation and Battery Storage solutions. Mr. Sirse is the entrepreneur, innovator, investor, developer and owner of companies that carry out projects in these cutting edge technologies with Singapore as its Headquarters.
vTrium Energy’s subsidiary Red Dot Power Pte. Ltd. (formerly known as CPvT Energy Pte. Ltd.) is a homegrown Singapore entity and the first independent Electricity Retailer to begin electricity supply to contestable class of retail consumers in Singapore.
Mr. Sirse’s mission is to offer all-inclusive energy management solutions to retail electricity consumers both on demand side and supply side i.e., electricity demand management (Demand Response/Interruptible Load), retail electricity supply and Solar/Storage – thus providing a complete one-stop energy solution to the electricity consumers in Singapore.
Mr. Sirse has more than 36 years of experience in business development, project financing and asset management in the electricity sector. His experience encompasses 360 degree private power projects development and implementation of frontier technology application solutions in Emerging Markets. Prior to starting his own venture with vTrium Energy and Red Dot Power, Mr. Sirse has worked with many multinational companies like Globeleq (an Actis UK subsidiary), El Paso Energy USA and ABB.
Chief Operating Officer
Mr Edward Hardman is the Chief Operating Officer at Red Dot Power. As a member of the management committee, Edward’s key responsibilities include hedging and trading strategies; compliance with the rules & regulations associated with being a participant in NEMS; pricing of products & plans for small to large consumers; and managing sales partners.
Edward has more than 20 years’ experience working in the derivatives industry. He has extensive experience in trading and hedging of various asset classes including fixed income, equities and commodities. Edward graduated in 1993 from Kingston University, London, UK and joined Gerrard and National as a graduate trainee, he joined Fuji International Finance in 1996 (later to become Mizuho) and moved to Singapore in 1998, Edward left Mizuho in 2005 as a Senior Vice President, to join Saxon Financials. Saxon were the first international proprietary trading company to set up operations in Singapore, as Risk Manager, Edward was instrumental in their success, as they increased operations every year for 6 years. Following on from Saxon, Edward helped start Kuranda Trading Group as COO until 2013.
More recently Edward has been a consultant to Eurex Exchange, Europe’s largest derivatives exchange, for the business development and sales, and to Red Dot Power during the development of the Singapore Electricity Futures market, before joining Red Dot Power as a member of the management committee.
AVP, Customer Service and Key Accounts
Jenny joined Red Dot Power in January 2016 as Head of Customer Services and as a Key Account Manager. She is directly responsible for RDP’s largest accounts and has an overall responsibility over customer services. Jenny is involved in all aspects of customer services from account creation to management, liaison and invoicing. As head of the department, Jenny is the first point of contact for some of RDP’s largest clients.
Prior to joining RDP, Jenny worked with UOB Kay Hian for almost 6 years as Foreign Trade Settlement Officer and her key role involve team management and point of contact to all US, Europe, New Zealand, Japan trade settlement for equities and bonds. She has also strong experiences in Quality Control Assurance having overseen the documentation of manufacturing & assembly processes in compliance to ISO9001 standard and issuance of Certificate of Conformance to major clients such as RasGas & QatarShell when she was with Cameron (S) Pte Ltd, an American Oil & Gas Manufacturing firm based in Singapore. Jenny strives for perfection in every role assign to her and is excited to grow with Red Dot Power, the first independent electricity retailer in Singapore.
AVP, Sales & Marketing
Regina Lee brings to Red Dot Power more than 18 years of leadership experience in sales and marketing in multiple countries including markets in Asia as well as North and South America.
Previously, Regina was with Acer Computer where she led 2 sales teams and was responsible for expanding business and establishing industry standards in several countries. During her employment with International Enterprise Singapore (formerly known as Singapore Trade Development Board), she helped numerous companies develop firm capabilities such as branding and design.
Having successfully created and implemented sales and marketing strategies with a track record of increasing annual sales 10-fold within a 4-year period and garnering marketing results of US$10 million within a 6-month period, Regina will be leading 2 teams with Red Dot Power as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Regina holds an MBA in Strategy from the University of Strathclyde, UK, and a Bachelor of Science Degree from National University of Singapore.
AVP, Human Resource & Admin
As the AVP for Human Resource & Admin, Su’s remit is in managing the full suite of HR spectrum and office management. She is responsible for strategising, conceptualising, implementing and executing critical HR activities, processes and policies for Red Dot Power. Besides these, Su collaborates with not only Business Units Heads but with employees at all levels to ensure a mutually beneficial working relationship.
Prior to Red Dot Power, Su’s 25 years’ of broad HR experience covers industry verticals of Retail, Info-Communications, IT, Events Management, Specialized Recruiters and Non-Profit. Her specialization is in building up end-to-end processes for the HR department as well as a strong grasp of office management. One of her previous roles saw her managing not only HR, but also Finance, IT, Marketing and Legal. Having worked in 4 continents, Su is excited to be with an established integrated urban energy solutions provider with immense growth potential in Singapore and beyond.
GM, Special Projects
As the General Manager of Special Projects, Monica explores growth opportunities both within and without the markets that Red Dot Power operates in. She collaborates closely with other heads of department to suss out synergies across business units and identify business opportunities that are more inter-departmental in nature. Monica is on a constant look-out for innovative technologies that complements Red Dot Power’s existing capabilities and enhances our products and services.
Before embarking on her exciting journey with Red Dot Power, she worked on strategy consulting projects with Singapore governmental agencies and carried out business development works in the telecom industry. Her focus was on frontier markets such as Nepal, Cambodia, and Tanzania. She and her team clinched the third national telecom license in Nepal after a successful construction and deployment of rural network worth USD50mn. Monica completed her MBA in Energy Management at the Technical University of Berlin. During her time in Germany, she absorbed the best practices and learnings offered by the forerunners in the Energiewende (Energy Transition).
